Cross-platform HAE patient diary app

Attacks, symptoms, triggers, treatments, prophylaxis reminders, native Android/iOS home-screen widgets, doctor appointments, profiles, registration, multi-device usage, PDF export, and Ionic migration.

Before

The app needed continuous product evolution, redesign implementation, patient diary improvements, native widget support, account-based usage, and later modernization from an older Ionic/Cordova stack.

After

A maintained Ionic/Angular patient app supports structured HAE documentation, reminders, profiles, PDF reporting, native iOS/Android widget behavior, and a Capacitor-oriented modernization path.

Production platform, not a reporting demo.

The app supports patients with hereditary angioedema in documenting attacks, symptoms, triggers, treatments, prophylaxis, appointments, reminders, profiles, and individual disease progression. The engagement combined feature development, redesign implementation, PDF reporting, native widget work, cross-platform release support, and later Ionic/Angular/Capacitor modernization.

The product is a structured patient diary, not a replacement for medical advice. It helps users record current and past attacks, symptoms, triggers, treatment measures, prophylaxis, appointments, and disease progression so the information can later be reviewed or exported.

Modernization

Ionic/Cordova legacy risk was reduced without dropping native behavior.

The later modernization moved the app toward a newer Ionic/Angular/Capacitor architecture while preserving patient diary workflows and custom native functionality. The goal was lifecycle continuity for current iOS and Android requirements, not a cosmetic rewrite.
